Call for papers
Proposal submissions open from October 31, 2024 to December 20, 2024. EXTENDED TO January 12, 2025.
A maximum of 2 proposals per author may be submitted as abstracts, in relation with any of the 9 major themes of Applied Linguistics: Language acquisition; Language teaching; Language for academic and professional purposes; Psycholinguistics, neurolinguistics and clinical linguistics; Sociolinguistics; Pragmatics and discourse analysis; Computational, corpus linguistics and natural language processing; Lexicology and lexicography; and Translation and interpretation. Checklist for the preparation of proposals:
Files must be in OpenOffice or Microsoft Word format.
Abstracts must be submitted using this TEMPLATE (English; Spanish; Catalan). NOTICE: Proposals that do not adhere to this template will not be considered.
Authors should indicate whether they are submitting a proposal to be evaluated as an oral presentation, poster, or round table.
The abstract must include the title of the presentation and should clearly state the objectives, methodology, results, and conclusions of the study.
Place the title at the top and center of the page on which the text begins, using 14-point Times New Roman font. Capitalize only the first letter of the first word and all other significant words (nouns, adjectives, verbs, and adverbs), as well as proper nouns. Do not use a period after titles.
A maximum of five keywords will be included.
The text must be written in single spacing and 12-point Times New Roman font.
The abstract should not exceed 400 words (excluding references, in APA style).
The proposal will be submitted without personal data, following the template provided, for blind peer review. If necessary, a supplementary PDF file for the abstract can be attached in case special characters are used.
In the case of posters, the characteristics are as follows: portrait orientation and A3 size (29.7 x 42 cm).

PUBLICATION
From 7 April until 7 June 2025, articles can be submitted for publication in e-AESLA and in one monographic volume published by a reputed editorial.
